Winter is much shorter on the south coast of Spai On the Costa Blanca the temperatures already reach the 20 degrees. English tourists who fly now to Alicante have therefore already the chance to gain an outlook on the spring. It is worth taking a walk on the beach and also in the picturesque inner cities of places like Altea it becomes more lively. Many cafes and shops, which have closed over the winter, are already receiving the first guests. Many of them from middle and northern Europe, who enjoy a short vacation here, to fill the power of the sun or even have a holiday home  here and can use at any time.
An increasing number of people from Central and Northern Europe are taking advantage of this opportunity to create a residence in the mild climate of the Costa Blanca and to use it mainly when the snow and mud dominates the streets in their home countries. First and foremost hoteliers and vacationers expect the first weeks of the season with great excitement. The great demand for holiday accommodation in Spain also comes from owners of holiday homes and apartments. Often these objects are rented profitable, if they are not used by the owners themselves.
